Rocky Edwards
Founder, Chairman

Rocky Edwards, a co-founder of Shotcaller Global, Inc. and inventor of GunOps™, has 36 years’ experience in law enforcement, of which 26 years were spent as a Forensic Firearm and Tool mark Examiner. He served 10 years as a Special Agent with the United States Army, Criminal Investigation Division (CID), conducting investigations of felony, narcotics and economic crimes.  In 2017, Rocky retired the Santa Ana Police Department where he served for the past 20 years as a firearms examiner and special consultant.

Mr. Edwards received Forensic Firearms & Tool mark Examiner training at the US Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory (USACIL), Ft. Gillem GA.  As an examiner, Mr. Edwards has worked forensic cases for all branches of the Military (U.S. & Canada) and many major law enforcement agencies throughout Southern California (LAPD, HPD, EPD, IPD, APD, OPD, ECPD, FPD, SPD, SJCS, TPD, FPD, APD and GGPD) as well as Federal agencies FBI and ATF. He has provided forensic consulting for Chamberlin County PD, New Jersey and Albuquerque Special Prosecutors Office, New Mexico.

Mr. Edwards is a distinguished member of the Association of Firearm and Tool mark Examiners (AFTE), has been a keynote speaker at conferences in Mexico, South Africa, Cypress, Montreal and Interpol, Lyon, France.  His Firearm and Tool Mark Identification research has been presented at the Association of Firearm and Tool mark Examiners in Houston, TX; San Francisco, CA; Chicago, IL; and Dallas, TX.  Mr. Edwards is also the co-inventor of a software based solution called DNAOps which is used to track rapid DNA results and provide alerts when statute of limitations are running out on DNA related crimes.   In 2006 Edwards received the National Special Police Award from the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, and in 2009, he received the August Vollmer award from the International Association of Chiefs of Police.

Jon Centanni Founder, Treasurer

Jon Centanni, a co-founder of Shotcaller Global, Inc. and inventor of GunOps™, has 25 years’ experience in law enforcement working with the Santa Ana Police Department located in Orange County, California. His experience in law enforcement includes the positions of Police Officer, Corporal, Sergeant and Detective Sergeant and Mr. Centanni has a keen understanding and hands on experience of the daily beat of a Detective in the street solving crimes and handling evidence case management.

After serving nine years as the Detective Sergeant in charge of Santa Ana’s Gang Unit, in 2010 Mr. Centanni retired from the force to concentrate on the further development and utilization of GunOps™.  Mr. Centanni is currently the Treasurer of Shotcaller Global, Inc. and is overseeing the development of a new product aimed at managing gang activity utilizing the detailed geographic mapping technology of the GunOps software application.

Mr. Centanni graduated from Cal State University, Fullerton with a degree in Geography and when not working enjoys spending time at his ranch in Southern Arizona.

Maurycy Sokolowski
Founder, Chief Technology Officer

Maurycy Sokolowski has over 25 years of software development experience across a slew of technologies and keeps making sure to be always at the cutting edge while selecting what is realistic to be used to hand. Maurycy possesses all the successful methodologies, experience and mathematical knowledge to reliably build, manage and maintain the GunOps™ application in a secure, scalable, and stable environment, and continue expanding its capabilities every day.

Before joining Shot Caller Global, Inc. as their CTO, Mr. Sokolowski was a Senior Developer with eHarmony in Los Angeles, CA where he has was responsible for integrating a cutting edge DSL project into the main application stack. His experience also carried him to financial firms and the health care industry.

Mr. Sokolowski graduated with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. His passion for excellence drives him to pursue endeavors in continuous improvement and deep machine learning as well as an endless pursuit to refine and always do more with less using principles of Agile and Kanban. Mr. Sokolowski enjoys aviation, rock climbing, playing the guitar and reading.

Gary Brewer
Chief Executive Officer, President

Gary has over 25 years’ experience in product branding development, channel management, marketing communications and internet marketing. He has a proven track record of consistently delivering record revenue growth in manufacturing, distribution and technology environments. Before joining Shotcaller Global, Inc. as their President, CEO Gary was General Manager North America for Canto the world’s leader in Digital Asset Management software.

Earlier Mr. Brewer was President of Digital Eye Media a leading national brand management and internet marketing firm that serves the online marketing industry using social media, search engine marketing and brand development. In his first year he increased revenue by 210% and Digital Eye Media was awarded the prestigious ADDY Award from The American Advertising Federation, the world’s largest and toughest advertising competition. Prior to that Mr. Brewer was Senior Vice President of Global Sales for Rand Technology, one of the most respected international electronic component distributors in the world. Under his watch, revenues grew from $100 Million to $288 Million and Rand won Hi-Tech Company of the Year Award. Rand awarded Mr. Brewer with its Rand Corporate Achievement Award for Outstanding Service.

Mr. Brewer graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He has also attended the Executive Education Program at the University of Wisconsin and the University of Michigan. In addition, he is a Visiting Mentor at the University of California Irvine Graduate School of Management. Mr. Brewer is a member of the Advisory Board at Mission Generation, an international Christian missionary organization, and is a Youth Ministry Leader at Saddleback Church.

Jennifer Rogers
Customer Success

An original GunOps Team expert since 2010, Jennifer’s passion for Law Enforcement Industry came to light when she obtained her POST Certification for 911 Dispatcher at the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Academy in California in 2009.  It was at that time that she discovered her destiny was to support law enforcing agencies with fighting crime – a calling she continues to enjoy and fulfill as Director of Customer Success in the community-focused Shotcaller/GunOps organization.

A natural instructor and leader at heart, Jennifer has levered her experience as an award winning Trainer and Manager with over 15 years of experience in software to build exceptional solutions-oriented success with each of her high-profile GunOps clients.  When she’s not supporting law enforcement agencies in fighting gun crime, she can be found spending time with family and tinkering around enjoying restoring classic cars, trucks and vintage trailers.

Richard W. Marianos
Director, Field Operations

Richard Marianos is a senior law enforcement executive, having served more than 27 years at the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives fighting violent crime.  He most recently served as Assistant Director in the Office of Public and Governmental Affairs, and as Special Agent in Charge ATF’s Washington Field Division.

Marianos began his career with ATF in September 1987 in the Chicago Field Division where he worked on complex-gang investigations. and was recognized as a national expert using the continuing criminal enterprise and RICO statues to dismantle some of the most dangerous street gangs in America.

In 1997 Marianos was promoted to resident agent in charge of the Colorado Springs Field Office, Phoenix Field Division where he oversaw large-scale investigations into violent crime, to include outlaw motorcycle gangs, ethnic street gangs, and firearms trafficking organizations. In 1998 he was named Incident Commander and led ATF in the shooting investigation at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. During this tour Marianos received two Distinguished Service medals and was ATF employee of the year.

In 2005, Marianos was promoted to deputy chief of the Public Affairs Division at national headquarters, and in 2008 became deputy chief of the Special Operations Division, overseeing five special response teams and operations throughout the country.

Marianos was born in Chicago, Ill., and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from Northern Illinois University and a Masters in Police Executive Leadership in 2003 from University of Colorado. He is currently on staff at George Washington University, where he teaches several advance Masters level courses for law enforcement executives worldwide.

Anthony Gagliardi
Director of Marketing

Anthony Gagliardi is a world-traveled, Ottawa-based creative director, graphic designer and digital tools evangelist. Over the past 15 years Gagliardi has led creative and strategic teams working in physical and digital playgrounds across the lifestyle, liquor, and technology industries.

Before joining Shotcaller Global, Inc. as their Director of Marketing, Gagliardi spent 10 years at Forensic Technology (now Ultra Electronics Forensic Technology) executing all marketing, branding, and communications for the world leader in automated ballistics identification technology. Gagliardi, along with Andre Demers, was also recognized for his work on, Every Crime Gun Has a Story to Tell, which won Best Documentary at the 2011 Canadian Independent Film Awards.

In 2010, Gagliardi founded Sly Session Partnership, an Ottawa-based creative shop mainly producing off and online content for the B2G and wine & spirits industries.

Gagliardi holds of a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in English from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. Gagliardi also attended the prestigious Virginia Military Institute before completing degree requirements at George Mason.

Charles S. Brobeck
Advisor

Mr. Brobeck is the former chief of police for the City of Irvine – a position he held for ten years.  Prior to Irvine, he began his career with the San Rafael Police Department attaining the rank of Captain and then as the chief of police for the City of Novato, in Marin County.  In addition to serving as a special advisor to the director of the State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Mr. Brobeck was appointed by then-governor Pete Wilson as a member of the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).  After retiring in 2002 from law enforcement with 38 years of service he joined Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), (now Xerox), State and Local Solutions and served as their director of Western operations.

Mr. Brobeck started his Business Development/Management Consulting business in 2005, working with a number of clients including Sprint, American Traffic Solutions, Public Safety Corp., Tritech and Intergraph Computer Systems, Security Industry Alarm Coalition, (SIAC), Flyspan, Speakwrite and a number of ‘startup’ businesses.

Mr. Brobeck also served for twenty two years as a regular presenter in the POST executive development program for senior-level law enforcement personnel; the course provides training on a variety of topics associated with the challenge of Contemporary Organizational issues with an emphasis on leadership qualities and personal communication strategies.

Mr. Brobeck has served as a lead consultant on a number of analytical studies, including those of the Los Angeles Police Department, Orange Police Department, Los Angeles Harbor Police Department, Modesto Police Department, Carson City, Nevada and the City of Wasco/Kern County Sheriff’s Department.  He also performed an analytical study for the St. Paul Minnesota Police Department and Pearland, Texas.

Mr. Brobeck holds B.A. and M.P.A. degrees from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.  He is also a graduate from the 162nd session of the FBI National Academy and the FBI law enforcement executive development program.
